On this Veterans Day we have a guest post from a Veteran.
We all know how to celebrate our birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. But, what about Veteran's Day? Is there something we can do as on July 4th? Veterans are individuals that have stepped up, as a group, and put it all on the line for America. Men & women that have risked their lives, their health, their futures so that this country, this world, may be a better place for all of us.
So, how do we celebrate? Fly the flag? Yes! Count out your freedoms? Yes! Ponder what America would be like had we lost the war? Yes! Pray for our veterans with mental and physical disabilities because of their service in one of our military branches? Yes! We can actually go to a Veteran's Day Parade. You can visit a war vet spending time in a VA hospital. You can check out www.vfw.org. If a nothing else just love and enjoy America. Be a positive American!
